b18b, greddy turbo, need some input!
Well I finally got my 94 OBD1 Integra boosted. Somewhat... lots more work and money involved.
Here's what I'm looking at and I would like some input on some questions I got. I just want a daily driver thats boosted with some performance. I probably will never go get a 1/4 mile time. Too busy, just want a reliable boosted ls!
b18b - stock internals, 180k
skunk2 intake manifold
greddy carb turbo kit, blitz bov
apexi ws2 exhaust
p28 ecu chipped for crome tuning (not installed yet, will be tuned on crome though)
(using external fmu and stock injectors for now just to drive the car)
Questions are:
Do you guys think some RC 440cc injectors would be enough? If not what should I be running?
Do I need to upgrade my fuel pump? I can get a Walbro 255 intank. I won't if I dont need it!
Does anyone know anyone selling either of these things for cheap? There are too many ads to go through on the marketplace
Injectors I'm looking at:

Fuel Pump I'm looking at:

Boost aint cheap, and its even more expensive to repair the motor after you skimp out on simple stuff like this man. Just my .02
go with bigger injectors and tune it. get a 255lph too. I ran the same turbo on my ITR for years. made over 300whp on pump gas on stock bottom end with a inline pro headgasket.
I did run a FMU set up at the time but that is before crome, etc were out there. get 1000cc injectors and 255lph and tune it and call it a day

If you're going to spend $290 on injectors theres no reason not to go big. I would get some 880 or 1000cc. However, if you just want 450cc, look around for a set of DSM injectors. I got mine for $25 from my neighbor
Fuel pump is a must. Tuning is a must. Throw the FMU in the garbage, or if you can find someone ignorant enough to buy it then do that.

Fuel Pump ordered.
Awaiting input on injectors

I run 2g black tops but either would work. Just be careful, the automatic DSM injectors are only like 375cc. I'm not sure how to tell them apart, but I'm sure you can find out by searching. Resistor box works fine, you wont have any problems.
Yuck I don't want any 375's... I would put these s2k injectors in if I wanted that
As to the resistor box, is there brands to look for? Size/Power/Placement?

No. you would use an OEM resistor box from an older Honda or even a dsm. They can be found at even salvage for about 25 bucks. If you don't want to go through that, simply some saturated 440ccs from RC or Delphi/Rochester/Lucas Precisions will work.
@grndcont:
I already ordered a new one so sorry about that otherwise I would of bought it.
@93CX:
Ill put the dyno results and any problems I had during the install and running procedures..

alrighty guys. my 440cc's i ordered.. lol one was bad... so i got some rc 550's.. so here is what we looking at:
obd1 b18b LS 180k (rebuilt at 160k) STOCK INTERNALS!
greddy full turbo kit (stock 4.5 psi)
rc 550cc injectors
walbro lph 255 in tank
skunk2 intake manifold
straight pipe (no o2 bung)
apexi ws2 tip w/ apexi resonator on piping (sounds really quiet)
p28 chipped on crome tuning
sorry no dyno pics, printer was down. havent got a chance to email the tuner. car made 189hp/162fp on that low boost!
is that any good for a pretty much stock ls?
imma get a boost controller in a couple weeks. not worried about it right now

those are really good number for a stock LS with only about 5 lbs of boost on a greddy kit. Are you runing the greddy 2" downpipe cuz just by changing that and a test pipe in place of cat you will get about 15-20 whp. And turn up the boost buddy .
Well you dont want to mess with it without an external boost controller because the wastegates on these turbo kits arent that great. I'm just wanting to come across a cheap boost controller.
there was a recent thread here in the F/I section, a guy with a gsr with a greddy turbo kit , he made decent gains when putting a 3 inch downpipe on from the tiny one it comes with
LS motors make a lot less back pressure too...
Dont worry about back pressure that tiny turbo is giving you plenty,if loseing back pressure is what your worried about. The down pipe is after the turbo. And you will definatly see a difference putting a better flowing down pipe on the car. Also for a cheap MBC , look at the blox ones there cheap and actually work. And if you want to be super cheap, hit up the fish tank store and get your self some check valves the metal ones work the best 2 bucks and they will get the job done!
the more air you suck in the motor the more air you have to get out , hence why a bigger downpipe WILL make more power
