Hello peeps,
I recently bought an 04 honda accord for a DD and besides it being a great car. i'm having one problem...
It's only happened once but, when i would accelerate the car seems to jerk or hesitate like it doesnt want to go any faster. but if i drive it nice and easy it's fine. When this happened the check engine light came on for a little bit but after 15 mins its gone.
now, i've had the car for like 6-7 months and not a single problem occured until just a few days ago... I did change the oil to some synthetic 76 oil could that have caused the problem?
Please , any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks!
oh yeah sorry to mention. it's a 2004 Honda Accord EX 4cyl model.

Then is it a tranny issue? Because this was never the problem before? this immediately happened after the oil change...
oh, and thanks for your input. :D

If the check engine light came on, there should be a code stored in the computer. Find out what code, or codes are stored, and that should at least narrow down the possible causes.
Go to your local AutoZone they can do it for free. And will give you a print out of the trouble code. The only problem i've found is that not all cars will store the code sometimes the light will be out and you can still retrieve the code and other times you can get anything
