Default EP door lock switch does not work?

Hi.

The switch to lock and unlock the car door inside my EP does not work. Nor does the keyless entry make the car lock or unlock. Even when the vehicle is on and running, the inside switch does not work.

Anyone one have any idea on what it maybe? a fuse of some sort?

i really dont want to take it into the dealer.

I would check all the fuses with a test light and then if that doesn't work the you need to check and see how much resistance is in the switch. To do this you need to find out witch lead is positive and negative and then take a mulitmeter and put it on ohms. Then put the red lead of the ohmmeter on the positive and the black on negative. Then push the switch and see if electricity is getting through it. If not replace the switch.
