what happened to the search function , it used to be really good unlike alot of forums but now its crap ? . just comes up with any random threads ?.

any ideas ?

 

I have no issues with it, I use the advanced feature though. you can narrow the section to search in, and be a little more specific with it. whatcha looking for?

I agree the new search is total crap. IMO the old format probably had the best search out of any fporums I'm on. Now its just like all the rest.

 

I am with them, searching even using the advanced search as recommended... is crap.

I was trying to search for something in this forum and the drag racing forum last night... gave up after a couple attempts and google search honda-tech for it.

 

i have better luck using google to come up with HT threads than the search on the forum.

 

I agree too, the new search is crap, i use the google instead of the search and it works for me, for example if you wanna search "oil catch can" write;
oil catch can site:www.honda-tech.com, to the google bar
and it finds the related results better then the search option of the honda-tech

 

I second what everyone is saying. The search feature is near to none. You type something in and may get maybe if luck 2 threads that hardly relate to what your looking for.

 

holy crap, i thought i was the only one!! i'm starting to loose interest in H-T cause im using google now to search and im finding diffrent websites like Superhonda, that seem to give me more info then H-T when this site used to be my go to site for any questions... they need to convert back before they start loosing more people then they already have.
