i have a 1990 crx si and i wanna sell it. the engine is blown, the body isn't that good of shape either but the interior is in good condition. i was wondering how much i could get for it.

 

I might buy the ECU and dizzy if they're good. If you part it out you can make good $$$.

yeah, you can make some money by parting it out, cause i learned the hard way, back in 98, i was stupid, and i regret it now,................basically, i was desperate to get my totalled 91crxsi out of my parents driveway, and gave it to my friend's dad for only $350!!!, and it was t-boned on the passenger's side, and pushed in the median on the drivers side, but otherwise, it had a mint interior, engine bay w/89k on it, and sunroof worked.

and i saw it later on in a parking lot for sale, and i could'nt believe my eyes, cause it looked all mint again, cause the miracle of body shop people who fixed it.

it was for sale for $2700, (fixed back to normal)

it was too late for me to buy it back, cause i already found my current car, my 90white crx si, so now i just look back realising how much i could've gotten if i sold it on ebay, with just selling seperate parts, like seats for 200, hatch for 50, hood for 50, engine for 100, tranny for 100, wheels for 100 , ecu for 70, etc..........,

..............for example, if you add the above numbers, (which did'nt include everything keep in mind), it adds up to $670, which is $320 over what i got rid of it, so you get my point basically.

the only thing is, you need somewhere to put it while you do this, and thats why i originally did'nt go that route, cause my parents would'nt of liked that

 

hey man, I have an 88 dx auto with 130xxx miles on it it runs great it has a full custom int, the ext. is in ok shape it has shaved emblems, door molding,ant, it also has altezzas, the ext. is primer right now but I would be willing to trade this running car with extras for you non running car, and if you do not want to trade i may also be willing to buy it depending on the $$$$

 

do try to part it out. I know that you will make so much more money than if you would just sell it.
