Default 97 Accord ignition timing

What are the steps in setting the timing on this car. My Haynes book says to follow the directions on the VECI label under the hood. The label on my car has no mention of timing in it. It has idle rpm settings and spark plug gap, but no mention of timing. My Haynes book mentions jumping the service check-selector under the dash. My book is for 1994 and 1995 Accords. Are there vacuum line I have to disconnect and plug also?

On '96 '97 accords the timing is nonadjustable. It's only adjustable for '94 '95 accords of this generation(94-97)

If you have a '96 or '97 don't worry about ignition timing as it's controlled by the ecu.
