I have a 95 civic sedan and im going to swap in a b18cr and was wondering if I will be able to keep my AC and power steering? I saw on one forum that they mentioned with the B series (or maybe it was just the b20?) that they would have to sacrifice their ac and power steering. Thanks for the help.

 

you can keep it, just use the b-series a/c bracket with your d-series compressor. power steering you need the b-series pump and both the upper and lower power steering pump brackets. thats what i did and its been that way for 2+years no problems.
(i got lucky too because my friend had a vtec sol that he removed the p/s and a/c from so he gave them to me)

most people opt to remove them cause its easier or for weight reduction, i couldnt justify it

 

You need the Del Sol or CRV a/c bracket. The GSR bracket is made for the bigger compressor. The Del Sol Vtec uses the same compressor as the D series.
