89 Honda Civic HB STD
What all do I need to do this swap parts wise.
I already have the Si motor and DX tranny
Anything else?

Since you have the Si motor, just drop that in instead of doing a head swap. You will also need to add a few wires for the extra injectors and at the distributor. Do a search on it, I'm sure it's here somewhere. You will need the Si ecu, unless you already have it.

I'm not positive, but I believe the accual head is the same between std and si. just the intake mani, distributor, ECU, cam, and valve springs are different (and of coarse the block).

so, if the si motor is in good shape definately put the whole thing in. but if it has a bad bottom end I'd just switch the cam, valve springs, and do the mpfi swap and save yourself from having to pull the whole head.

I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong on this.

 

The head is the same but the cams are different, don't forget the SI dizzy...
