Well it happened earlier this morning....

I know it's not a Type R..but my Integra was stolen.

Please be on the lookout for parts.

It's a 2001 NBP Integra GSR.
Had a Type R wing...
OEM Optional Kit all the way around...
Stock GSR Swirlies...
Koni Yellows with Eibach springs...
Black leather interior....
Apexi WS II exhaust....
OEM ITR Shift ****...
Type R carbon fiber shifter console, ashtray, cigarette lighter and A/C console with JDM cluster.
JDMPassword rear tower bar...
AEM Cold Air Intake...

It was parked in a private lot.

 

sorry for your lost. i'm happy i live on a naval base but even then i remove my steering wheel and set my alarm. Did u have any anti theft devices?

Yes. Had an alarm with kill switch and the club.

I thought the major reason for ITR theft was the (B18C5) motor!? With the 4 lug and side molding on this car, despite it's similar appearance to an R, what are the high dollar items they're looking for stealing a GSR? Interior pieces, wing?...

 

also motor & suspension etc.

To a previous poster, take all precautions even if you're on a naval installation/military base. A fellow HT'er had his car stolen from NAS North Island, a Navy base in San Diego, CA.

i recently just started. After hearing how many hondas are stolen each day on this site and having delivery boys say your the guy that drives the hatch, I've started to take all the precautions. i have a alarm but half instead meaning no kill switch or tilt sensors. i do lock my doors set the alarm and remove the steering wheel and lock the hub of the steering column with a NRG removable hub and lock. I have been taking to try2live4god about a good spot to relocate the cable to pop my hood.

 

Well...my car was recovered 1 week after it was taken.
They pretty much did what everyone expected they would do which is strip the heck out of it.
I'm surprised they left the dash with the airbags.

 

I'm sorry man. I just saw this, except in red, yesterday, as my B18c1 type R clone was stolen and stripped and left in the same condition, except they left my seats. They came all the way to my hometown, musta followed me for weeks because the car was always left in plainview or parked in a garage.

Hopefully you'll get something back from insurance, start saving, get another one.

**** Theives man, the honda scene is worse and worse...I can't believe these clowns will come ANYWHERE to steal ANYONES ****, and don't lose any sleep over it. pussies.

I'm ok....I will definitely get another one down the line. It's just too bad some people don't believe in working to get what they want.

Everything that's out there now is a swapped b18 civic, at least out this way.

Barely anyone has Integra GSR's now, they are all getting stolen, and sold, then dropped into civics.

Yeah - alot of these dudes are the type of guys that do things that are definitely frowned upon...while you and I work oddjobs and overtime to afford swaps, suspension, turbo kits, etc, these guys shoot heroin and push dope...

it sucks bc i know how hard many of us work, even if it is in a frowned upon way, to PURCHASE swaps/parts etc, while these guys just straight up steal it...

i remember when i swapped my dsm, with a 30 dollar toolkit and a cherry picker thinking how ridiculous it is...that it takes so much time and money to put a beast together, and only a fraction of that to rip it to shreds

gl...keep ur spirits up...get some insurance money, work, get another one, and just clutch lock, kill switch, GPS, tilt sensor it. its all you can do.

you cant let these jerks stop you from having a great DC2, or whatever...EK, EM, WHATEVER it is man! chin up!
