that has low comp. pistons. for turbo build. you would need higher compression ones.

Is there a chance that i could need just a few parts to rebuild? It burns oil like a sun of a gun. I dont race or push it. I just need it to last me another year or so until i can save up to swap. i have no idea where or how its burning ti so bad..

if you dont know where its burning oil, you really shouldnt rebuild it... it could be something stupid like gaskets. with any motor, if you get cheap, you pay for what you get. i would suggest a compression test on the cylinders to see if you have bad rings

if you are positive you need to rebuild it, why are you getting new pistons, and not just getting it rebuilt?

Idk much about working on cars. Ive just recently started learning things. Ive been searching online and alot of the "rebuild kits" ive been seeing come with pistons. Which i thought odd cuz i dont see a reason id need them. Im told ill need gaskets tho. Id like to try it myself if i can to save money. I know ppl who work on cars that will help. Im just not sure if i can get away with mayb a few gaskets or do i need the whole kit?
