94 accord overheats, while just idleling
Well my 94 accord non v tech, overheats while its in idle, but never while on the freeway, usually the resevouir boils, and has major steam coming out, but not out the radiator, the thermostat sensor, is not working, can that be the problem...??
When you are moving the air keeps the engine cool when you stop the electric fan usually keeps the engine at a cool running temp. So make sure that the fan is working it should kick on around 190 degrees. If the fan does not come on then it could be the fan relay or the fans motor. An easy way of checking if the fan motor works is to run power to it from the battery. Let me know

If the thermostat sensor is not working, then the fan doesn't know to engage. Hard wiring it like Abe suggested will be one step closer to finding the solution, but not long term.
if the fan doesnt kick on, then its the themostat temperature switch, located on the thermostat housing, its has a green clip/plug on it, if it still overheats, then you should look into a new headgasket, i have a 95, and the same thing always happend to me, i just got fed up and carried a large kool aid pitcher with water in so i can atleast go places.
