My sis has a 92 accord LX non v-tec. she wants to get her motor replaced and dis dude claims that a f22a1 is a jdm motor. Does anyone have a direct link to the correct JDM motor that she needs for her car. I tried searching but i cant find anything yet. Will she have trouble with any type of issue if she was to drop a non vtec f22b that is intended for the 94-97 accord or is it just plug and play?? Feedback is appriciated THNX

If you want the direct usdm replacement, it is the f22a1/4/6
The jdm f22b dohc non vtec is a direct drop in and bolt in, and requires no additional wiring unless you want to add wiring for the IAB's inside the IM. There is a complete swap thread on cb7t about it. Great motor, and both the f22a1/4/6 and jdm f22b dohc are great boost motors as well.

It doesnt necessarily have to be JDM but she was leaning more towards the JDM motor since they have low mielage not like the USDM motor that has been most likeley run a few miles. THNX

A JDM F22 does not have the a1 after the F22.
it only says F22
