Quarter Window Hell!!!!
Hey all, I'm really new to all this so hopefully I can get some help here. I've got a 91 CRX Si currently in the works of being restored. One problem I've encountered is that the passenger quarter window is missing one of the 4 clips that hold the glass in place. The whole area around where the clip is supposed to be has sustained years of water damage, and has been rusted out. Besides that, I'm actually not sure how the clips are attached to the body, even if I was to fix the rust issue. The clips are orange; three sit behind the pass. side door to hold the front, and the missing one is on the opposite side to hold the rear of the window in place. Any help would be much appreciated! : )
i think i know what your talking about. my 91 hatch clips broke. i used tap-con's to permanently mount my rear windows. they are still fully functional too. or you can do what i've also seen done on rear windows, and that is to use some sort of an rtv glue to hold them on. and that would guarantee a water tight seal.
