bad fuel pump?
Hi my car has not been starting and my fuel and main relay are good , i took off my fuel pressure regulator and it was bone dry, then i tried it with the ign on and nothing came out. is this my fuel pump?
check your main relay, main grounds (on the theromastate and the big ground on the tranny) make sure they're clean from dust and maybe you might have to remove the paint also, check to see if the ecu is good, check fuses from under the hood and under the dashboard. mine is doing the same problem and have not fixed it yet. i don't hear my fuel pump prime when i turn the key (II) on. these are the ideas that some of the members here on honda-tech told for me to check, good luck and let me know if you do fix the problem....
yeah i don't really hear my pump prime, and the line to my fuel rail is not getting gas. i just changed the fuel filter also and nothing, it still wont start. ive checked my main relay and its good and i also replaced my fuel pump relay and that was good, fuses are good, grounds are good also, also my ecu seems to be ok because i have done nothing to it like connected the battery backwards or something like that. the last thing that is leaving me to belive its the fuel pump. im just getting some input before i buy one for 160 bucks.

if you remove the conection to your fuel filter (get a rag just in case) turn the key to the on position for about 10 sec, do this 3 or 4 times if no fuel comes out you might have solved your problem.
Fuel pumps are only $85; I just bought a Walbro 255. What did you do to the car just before you experienced starting issues? Chances are something else is really the root cause of the problem and not the fuel pump. For example, if you recently changed your thermostat and didn't fasten the ground wire your car will not start.
