timing is perfect and everything else is good. what would cause a mean *** flames and backfires to come out my echaust? it sounds like a flame thrower real deep.

if you only have compression in one cylinder i think you got bigger problems the backfire

 

yes, i know this but what cause's a mean *** backfire? bent valve? fried piston rings?

 

when trying to start it only it wont start up.

 

It seem like your timing jump a tooth. I had that happen to me on my teg when it hit 120K miles. And that flames shooting out the back was my cat burning up. How long ago did you do the timing? I did timing, water pump, O2, and cat and that fix it.

 

****, i just changed Blocks. I picked up a JDM D15B block from the junk yard and i put my z6 head on it and messed with my timming for ever. and i tripple checked my timming its on the dot.

so what else cause's this stuff?
