Less Power after Replacing O2 sensors?
Last month I replaced my O2 sensors in my 98 Gsr so I could pass inspection. Before replacing them I only had the primary sensor in with an odb1 ecu. The secondary o2 sensor hole was plugged. Now that I have passed inspection I have put the odb1 ecu back in and I left the secondary o2 sensor in and my car feels alot more sluggish. I replaced my o2 sensors with denso non-universal ones. I was just wondering why my car would be making less power?
well with i learned is that with OBD 1 ecu its should only read one of your O2 sensor and that the one in front of your cat and not until OBD 2 when it had more then one and it would read the O2 sensor from the back of your cat.. i recommend just take off the second O2 sensor if your still running an OBD 1 just your ecu doesnt used that back one unless your have an OBD 2
i think u just can feel it when your car not running like it should like night and day when u run your car at night with a cold air intake u can feel it more then when u run it in the day and its only a few more horses
