Oil pressure switch connector
hello. i have a 1997 gsr and am building my motor. earlier in the build i was pulling the wireharness connectors off each part of the engine and wen i got to the oil pressure switch (behind the block next to the oil filter), i did not realize to pull back the rubber, so afteer pulling on it the wire came out of the connector. wen i pulled the connector apart my friend explained to me that it could b fixed i just needed to find a female connector like it, and crimp the wire into it and it should work fine. now my question is what is the size of the female connector on the oil pressure switch on the engine wiring harness? he told me that it is an 18 gauge wire which i am unsure of what that means. could someone please shed some light on this for me, as i need to finish the build and get the motor back in the car within the next week or 2 because my engine class will be ending. thanks
