Default Repainting 92 prelude.....

Ok here's the deal, I have a 92 Prelude SI that was originally painted fresco blue, it was hit on the driver side rear quarter panel about 4 years ago. All of the damaged was repaired cheaply be a body shop with body filler (bondo), while the car was getting the panel fixed I asked them to fix some other spots as well as paint the entire car white. To make a long story short, after a few years the paint started to chip in some place due to poor paint prep. What I want to do is repaint the car to its original color which is fresco blue, but what I really want to know is there a way to make the paint not so purple?

Any input would be great or any close color options.

Just go to the paint store and flip through the books until you find a color you like.

Any color of paint is possible.

If you use the correct valueshade sealer you shouldnt have any problems with the paint looking purple

What is a valueshader? I've never heard of that. What does it do to the finally color outcome?

it will provide you with a solid color surface to lay your paint over, this way if your spraying a blue you wont have a blue car with spots where the primer was
