apex vafc on d16z6...
my friend has a b16 in his rex. simple everyday bolt ons. he got a vafc on it, ran like crap, but once it was tuned on a dyno, major power increases and just very noticable. would it be worth getting one and tuning on my z6 in my rex? i have about the same mods he has....? thanks
also my car seems to be running rich now? smell a hint of gas every once in awhile. and the stupid ecu keeps giving the 02 sensor code. i have already changed it out and didn't fix it? any guesses?

Na, your better off spending that money towards a P28 swap. The V-AFC will only let you adjust the fuel injector pulse width MAPS. When in reality, you need to be adjusting the timing MAPS... Thats where the biggest differances are between the P6 and P28 ECU's.
I would like to know this too....but i would think the adjustment of the fuel maps would greatly effect the lean/richness of ne motor..regarless of being a b16 or d16..you know? Im running kinda rich also (im running the zdyne ECU) but i dont have o2 codes at all...mah car runs great but I would like to get a VAFC or feild's and see what if thhat helps at all..

i think its worth it cuz i got one for my car but its the field, work like a charm. i can feel the difference with or without it. its all up to the dyno tune with the controller for better performance.
