Is this a good deal for an s2000?
my friends dad is selling a...not sure what year s2000 for 7k. it has 33k miles on it and is apparently in great condition. i mean i know its a good deal, but how good of a deal is it?
7k for 33k is good if its mechanically sound/well taken care of. Try to find out the year and some more info. Don't jump to buy before you check everything out.

There are only 4 possible reasons that this guy would want to sell that car at that price.
1. He is an idiot
2. There is something wrong with it
3. He needs a very quick sale (he has debt or worried about an upcoming problem with said car).
4. He has just come in to a large amount of money and doesn't really give a **** how much he sells it for.
That is it. No other reason.

"Owns his own body shop"...could have easliy been wrecked and fixed even without an R title. Also, even if he just wanted to "get rid of it fast" there's nothing that says you try to sell the car for less than half of the book value. Most people looking for that year S2K would be overjoyed to find one for 12 or 13k. Seems too good to be true bud sorry.

Where? I am a dealer, and the cheapest I have seen even a junk '01 S2000 at an auction has been $7500 with almost 200k miles on it, and previous salvage history...
copart for salvage
manheim for clean
You are in Pa?...and this guy is saying this is an '04 or '05 with 33k...nothing close to what your car was...and you let your car go way too cheap if it was nice. You and I both know that an excellent shape S2K with no accident history with this sort of miles will do way more than 7k.
i finally know im getting 5k back from insurance, i have another thousand saved. and i can get 1 more. hopefully lol this will workout. who knows maybe il just buy and sell it.
