Default valve cover to frame ground

hey i jus bought a 97 integra ls and realized that the ground from the valve cover to frame was missing... what all does this effect and my interior speakers get alot of static unless i fade them would this have anything to do with this or do they just need replaced?

the static may be caused from old wiring...
but you should ground the engine it is there to stablize the voltage to the motor... distributor timing, fuel injection, etc...

Get a small piece of 8 gauge amp wiring and two b gauge ring connectors and mount it to the right side of the valve cove to either the radiator support or the frame by the motor mount

You could also hide it by mounting it on the rear of the valve cover, then to the chassis.

yes that too, IMO that is the best way. The less wires seen the cleaner the engine looks
