Fog light selection
I will be replacing my messed up bumper with a brand new one soon.
I want to install some fog lights. I currently have a HID kit, but will be doing a retrofit also.
Which fog light kit would be best to get?
And also is the installation on the 98 bumper the same as the 95 bumper?
Thanks

If you have a 94-97 front end you'll need the fogs that fit that bumper. The installation for that will differ from the 98+. I'm pretty sure there were instructions floating around here, I'll try and find them.
I'm gonna suggest the OEM Stanley lights for the 94-97 front, and the OEM Raybrig lights for the 98-01 front. IMO it's hard to beat the OEM fitment, and quality.. You may be able to find a decent 94-97 set on h-t's marketplace. That is actually where I got mine, and I got an awesome deal too. You can actually order the 98+ Raybrig brand new from Acura.. Park Acura sells the whole kit on ebay (I believe includes wiring, and switch.) The only con to that is that it's very pricey.
There are many replicas to choose from as well. I've heard good things about Pilot replicas. It's all in what you want to spend, and what you can find.

I just have some Pilot PL-720B amber projector fogs bolted directly to the bumper support beam (no chance of the annoying vibrating light syndrome). The lenses appear blue when the projectors are off. My 98+ bumper was all cut out when I got it, so I didn't have to worry about anything interfering.
I like the way they look, but they don't really do much now since I installed the HID projectors. The HID beam pattern pretty much drowns out the fog light beam pattern completely, at least from my perspective in the driver seat.
Most stock halogen headlights leave an un-lit space directly in front of the bumper, and have a relatively narrow beam pattern. That's what fog lights are there for, to fill in that area in front of the bumper and widen out the foreground lighting. However my HID beam pattern is so wide anyway, that they really don't do anything. My front bumper opening looks bare without them, though, so I left them in there.

Can you post a picture of your front bumper and the lights?
They dont have to be on or anything. I just wanted to see because I am gonna do a 98 front end conversion in the near future.
Thanks
