Default secrets or advice on motor assembly?

While currently I'm in the process of gather parts for my Ls-vtec build. I was thinking about assembling the motor myself. I seen plenty of threads of people assembling there own motors. I was just wondering is there any tips or advice you guys could help me out with to make assembling the motor a breeze? On a difficulty level of 1-10 how would you guys rate your first time experience?

Its not to bad, as long as you have common sense and the tools necessary to complete the build, you should be alright. Just do not skimp on anything and be sure to plastiguage main and rod bearings. Here is a great write up that will Aid you in your build.
