^^ Im running basically the same setup boosted, 3 inch w/28 inch resinator with a turn down right after the control arm. No muffler. It sounds sick.

When tuning my car on the dyno, ear plugs are a must haha

 

I thought it would sound better than just a straight pipe. But it was still too loud so I added the other muffler.

Here is mine. It might be mad JDM tyte but it weighs 3.5kg and it is quiet enough to pass noise restrictions at the tracks I frequent. Amuse R1 Titan:

I see so glasspacks/purple hornies are just resonators. Does it back fire?

 

Yes it would backfire. With just the purple horny it would shoot little flames sometimes.

 

this wut i have on when i go to the track an the other exhaust is a magnaflow..but everytime i rev it or i start driving like around 3000rpm up 4000rpm im gettin a freaking ricer sound i hate it is tht hisssing ****.. theres not leak at all i already check....then sometime when i push it all the way vtec engage the hissing stays on all the way till 9000rpm wtf i hate tht sound...?

 

S2k stock duals removed and welded a vband right before the split. I can put the stockers back on when I want or take them off for the track. Reduces weight and frees up a few ponies.
