I has drived my accord for at least 40-50 miles in 120 mph. whitout cooling.

what prompted you to do such a thing? how did you not get arrested? your car still made it home?

 

i would change your oil and coolant if you havent already.

 

It was on the German Autobahn and there is free speed limit (the only place in the world) and I didn´t now it was no coolant lubriant on the engine. The radiator is leak. I have to change my Head gasket.

 

How did you do that?

120 for 40 mins would be pretty hard on an engine...esp if your radiator is leaking

20 minutes, going 120 for 40 miles takes half the time it would at 60.

I do have to say that was stupid to do with a leaking radiator, but if you had coolant, it shouldnt be too much of a problem....honda's can take being at a high rpm for a long time.

 

If your temp gauge didn't shoot up you probably had enough liquid in your cooling system to keep the engine safe.

 

actually a few years back that reinstated a speed limit...i know, it sucks
