I have an 1988 Honda Crx SI with a d16y8 swap in it. I put a fuel pump kill switch on the car an ran the wrong wire. It was suppose to be cut the yellow with black stripe an run that the switch wires. Instead my dumbass ran one yellow with the black stripe to one of the switch wires. Then ran the black wire to the other switch wire. I tryed starting car an I can't get it to start. The fump pump doesnt even prime let alone come on at all. I rewired the fuel pump back to stock an I have the same issue. I went to the local junkyard an swapped out main relays. Then put that main relay in the my car. Same issue again. Then I ran a wire from the igniton wires to the fuel pump an the fuel pump turns on. So I know I didnt blow the fuel pump up. Does anyone have any help that they could provide me?

Anyone? This probelm is pullin my hair out. Normally I can fix most issue's but this one is frustrating.

 

well if what it seems like is that u poped the fuse or shorted the pump. i would go to the fuse box and first see if the fuse is blown and if it isnt i would check to make sure u have power at the yellow/black wire and ground at the black wire. if u have both then chances are u blew the pump.

 

It ended up being the alternator soleniod control valve 10amp fuse lol.
