My blinkers seem to blink from the corner lights, but the corner lights do not stay on. Are they different bulbs? New to cars

If I understand right, the running lights are not coming on, but your turn signals work fine. The bulbs are duel filaments, so it is possible both have the running light filament burnt out while the signal filaments are fine. If none of the running lights are working, check fuse 10 on the passenger side under dash fuse panel. If both of these are good the EX also has a taillight relay that should be checked, it is behind the right kick panel.
