2000 KX 250 Track Built Bike FS/FT
I've got my 2000 Kawasaki KX 250 track built bike up for sale or trade. The bike has a 265cc RPM (Rick Peterson Motorsport) race engine (265cc high compression) that I've rebuilt from trans to power valve and everything in between. Has maybe 10 hours total on full rebuild. Uses 108 oct or c12 race fuel w/ synthetic blend. Exhaust is FMF Gold Series pipe and FMF shorty silencer - not a spark arrestor. There's a small ding in the pipe, about the size of a nickle. Starts 1st kick every time. After the original build, the bike dyno'd at 49whp. I havent riden w/ a stock bike that can hang with this, even in the dessert w/ 14 tooth front sprocket this bike hangs with xr650r's no prob. Most of my riding has been dessert and trails with a little track. The suspension is built by RG3 - the forks have heavier springs and both forks and rear shock are re-valved for a 215lbs rider, Im 180lbs so its a little stiff for the track w/ me on it. The bars are Renthal twin walls and using a Emig billet aluminum triple clamp. Rims are Excels with heavy spokes wrapped with Maxxis Dessert IT tires w/ alot of life left. I haven't been riding for awhile and it's just sitting in my garage. I would be interested in trading for a 600cc good condition street bike - cbr, f4i, r6 (may consider naked bikes as well) plus cash on my end. Looking for a starter type bike, cosmetic damage is ok, but bent frames, swingarms, damaged forks, missing electronics, ect are not acceptable. I'm asking $1800 obo or trade + about $1-2k cash on my end for a street bike. Will not ship. Located in So Cal. Pm me for best result. Sorry for the crappy cell pix, my camera is busted. I'll try to get some better pix up later.
