Default 96-98 fog light wiring harness

So i have these jdm fog lights i bought off password jdm and had em' for about a year now, and just lately my fog lights has been tweaking on and off, when it would die, i wiggle my fog light harness and it'll come back on, now its completly dead. Does anyone had this type of problem with your fog lights? i replaced the fuse by the relay and everything, not sure if i should go buy another wiring harness and replace it with old one to see if it'll work after....ANYONE PLEASE HELP!

so i took out my wiring harness and everything to see if all the wires were still good..i found my ground wire had a little cut on it, dont know what caused it but im guessing it was because the ground wire didnt make a complete circuit..so i cut the whole thing off and im gonna reconnect it to see if it'll work, if its not that ground wire, i dont know what is...hopefully it'll work

my fogs are wired in with a $7 autozone auxilliary light harness. so far i have no problems whatsoever, and i got a light up switch for them. thats one cheap alternative that works, and under an hour install time.

only thing with those harnesses is that they are made to run directly off the battery, instead of the headlight switch like they are supposed to. i had them in my crx but got tired of occasionally leaving them on.

if you check wal mart's auto section, you should find the wires, switches, and connectors. thats what i ended up using for the flex light under my fenders. but they have the same problem of running off the battery.

so i finally found out what was wrong...when i pulled out my wiring harness back out and re connected everything..it worked..but on my driver side fog lamp..everytime i'd put it back on and turn the fog lights on..it'd burn my fuse..it hapened 3 or 4 times..then i finally took the driver side lamp out itself and turned it on with the passenger side on..then reconnected the driver and tried putting it on..when the fog light wires rubbed againts metal..thats when my fuse gave out, cuz i guess one of the wires were split open so the wires were showing...and when it'd touch metal it gave like a negative reaction or whatever to kill my fuse...but i ended up just putting electrical tape on it..and it works fine now....stupid wires!
