Like most people, I liked it, even found it a bit alluring on the sexually . However, having to listen to this midshift day to day, are you annoyed by it? People that want loud BOV's make me laugh.

I still like it.. i miss it if i dont hear it... not that i go out of my way to boost just to hear it.. but an occasional blowoff just getting intot he next gear is cool.... it's a reminder of how much money i spent on the motor that it helped destroy.... reminding me that yes there's a turbo under the hood that can do damage again.... if it wasnt there i'd prolly forget and become complacent.

I love mine!! Its got a loud whistle to it, but I think its cool. I'll tell you what drove me nuts for the first week was the inline fuel pump. Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa....... I can tune that out now.

Thats the only repetitive same exact noise I have never gotten sick of, Occasionally I'll see a biker or jogger on my side of the road then i'll floor it in a high gear to get high boost at slow speeds and let off the gas right when i get up beside them...wish i had a camera sometimes.
BTW Greddy type S tuned about 40% on the soft side. I'll get on it just to hear it in parking lots or when cruising for a while NA gets boring. LOVE IT!!

haha, scaring pedestrians is amusing, just make sure they don't jump in front of the car haha...I've just got a Bosch BOV...it's not very loud at all...though it certainly does work. I think that I may modify it to let more air out when it's open...it'll be louder and hopefully work better as well.

Hey dude Is that Bosch BOV adjustable? Cuz I thought Bosch only made recirc valves, which sits in the place of a bov but has a hose that recirculates air from bov to intake tube and a little vacuum spout, maybe thats why its not that loud.

If it bothers you that much, why don't you just make it closed-loop?

You really dont hear it that often unlike most stock turbo cars. With the big turbos that most of us have it only blows off when youre really trying to boost. My friends gst blows off all the time tho...I can see how that would get annoying.

Yea the even suttle vibrating hone my msd inline pump gives is annoying, but I won't need that much longer (going afc hack)..... I still love the BOV especially since after 4 months of it fluttering ONLY then recently adjusting it (loosening it alot) it FINALLY makes a NICE tstspssshhhhhhhhhh I f***ing love it to death....

Me too. I can hear the BOV even at 1 psi lift. Its a nice quiet woooooshhh. I don't want to attract undue attention *cough* coppers *cough* to my car.

BTW- Bryson, how often do you "get off"
