This may not be much help, but it's not that hard, if I remember correctly. All you have to do it take of your door panel to get to the handle from behind. There should be two bolts that hold it on and maybe one or two rods. The key cylinder it easy to take out as well. You might be able to do this without even taking the handle off of the door.
Sorry this isn't much help but I just remember doing it a couple of years ago. I was just wanting you to know that it is very easy to do with a phillips screw driver and a 10mm ratchet. Good luck!

Like ih8 wrote, it's not too hard. I did find this site helpful when I was fixing my 93 Civic's locks: https://honda-tech.com/forums/honda-civic-del-sol-1992-2000-1/diy-fixing-doorlocks-open-any-key-2237857/
hmm i was reading through https://honda-tech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2237857 and it looks exactly like whats in my 91 civic. the thing is, there isnt much work room to get that clip off. would taking the whole handle assemby be easier?
1.
Pry the clip (the one to which the arrows in the photo below point) off with a large long screwdriver or possibly a small one to start. I think the clip protrudes some at the bottom (oriented as shown in the photo). The protrusion is where you can pry. If this does not work, try spreading the top ends of the clip and pushing downwards simultaneously (I know, doh).
2.
IIRC the clip being undone now frees the lock cylinder body so that it can be pulled inboard and so you can maneuver it off the rod on the left in the photo.
