you dont need to replace the whole throttle body, thats the easy yet expensive way out. hopefully, you didnt swap in your new motor yet so it will be easier to dremel off the rivets that hold your existing tps onto the tb.

i would locate an OEM tps on ebay or in a junkyard, any b series will work. d series tps will not work. ive had bad experiences with aftermarket tps, they always throw a code at higher rpm.

There are two flat screws that hold the tps in. Take a dremel and and cut a grove in the screws and use a flat head screwdrive to remove. You can the take the screws to your local hardware store and replace with an allen if possible this will make it easier to adjust when its in the engine compartment. An easy way to set it is try to get it close to where the one was that you removed. Then start the car and adjust until it the car idles and accelorates smothly. If you have a multimeter you can set with that also wich this would be the best way to do it

I bought a TPS from password jdm for $40 shipped, drilled out the rivets holding the OEM TPS in place, replaced the rivets with allen head's adjusted the tps to 0.5 volts closed throttle and 4.5~4.7 volts WOT and haven't had a problem since. The voltages may be different for a gsr.. i was working on a ls.

Where would i find the voltages for a GSR TPS... the Haynes manual recommends just replacing the whole throttlebody... But ima check in there to see if I can find out the voltage I need...

How do you "adjust" the voltage??? Cuz even my friend whose a honda tech told me to just buy another throttle body...

And Geezer thanks for the suggestion... But those are a lil too pricey... If im going to spend $300+ on something for this swap... Its gonna be a race header to actually make some power...

But even then i dont wanna do that cuz im going boost as soon as i get in this motor in my car...
