i have a 1988 civic hatch with a b18b1 swap and this weekend i did a clutch in it and on the test drive my wiring harness got cought on my cv axle and twisted around it. (i know i am a dumbass) but any ways i pulled all the wires back through and they all seemed to be fine i taped up the few that wore threw and then my car started hitting a rev limiter at 3 grand and throwing a code 4 so i check all the wiring to the dizzy and the one big blue wire with the 4 wires and the ground strap in it had some wear spots in it so i taped it all back together and now it wont hardly run so how do i fix/ replace the big blue wire? any help would be awsome thanks.

 

i need some help really bad am i gonna need a new wiring harness?

 

cut the wire back and replace the broken section, clear the codes when you done and you should be good to go

 

i tried doing that but the bare groung wire that is wrapped arounf the 4 wires in the insul is snapped in alot of places

 

you may as well just get another harness, may be simpler then to repair the one with torn wires.
