OBD1 VTEC enigne into OBD2 96 civic ek ?? HELP
ok, im installing a d15z1 into my 1996 civic ek shell and turboing it,
can u please help me out , what should i wire and how ? can i wire vtec solenoid to a switch and 12volt sorce and activate vtrec like that ? help,
also will d15z1 run on a d16y7 ecu ?

well i had my d15z1 dropped into my 96 ex coupe, it has the 99 ex ecu runnin on it but it wont let me pass 5000 rpm i dont know why. besides you wont feel the vtec, cuz i read the vtec on this engine is for low rpms thats when the vtec kicks.
