What is needed? D16Z6
The z6 clutch will work with your current transmission, it all depends on the flywheel that you have....
As far as what else is needed, you need to convert from dpfi to mpfi and I'm assuming you're going obd1 since you mentioned the z6 and its ECU which is the p28. Your car is currently obd0 so you'll need a conversion harness to convert from obd0 to obd1........either me, kenji, or blownhatch can help you with that conversion harness since we all make them and sell them.
good luck,
Lester

lelopez.....for those conversion harnesses, do i need to take out my stock engine harness or will it hook right up to it? i'm planning on doing the same thing....thanks
use your axles, tranny, mounts, flywheel, either clutch will work...92-95 or 89-91...the only clutch and flywheel that are year specific are 88's
btw:...i'm running in obd0, and it seems to be working great

well you think about it...people say that the si ecu doesn't have fuel maps for the vtec, and it doesn't...but the sensor does see more air incoming, and it compensates with fuel...just like when you mod a motor on stock computer and fuel system...the ecu adds the extra fuel
