hey, i have a 1992 4 door civic and the first thing im doing is swapping out the stock d15 for a zc dohc. if swaps are out of the question i would suggest a tranny swap for a sir tranny, apart from that the usually, full exhaust system, intake, cams, etc..

how much do you wanna spend?....the problem with hondas are that any bolt ons have little or no power gains, for example a full exhaust, headers and intake will only gain you 5hp maybe. your best best for power is either a swap or to turbo the car. i would suggest a b16 they are fairly cheap easy to find and to find parts for.

yeah i now, thats true, but thats why the first thing i said was to do a swap, and the cheapest swap to do would be a zc dohc that way you dont have to spend money on new engine mounts, ecu, etc. and with the zc it comes with a hyrdo tranny if you want a b16 with a hydro tranny its gona cost, but for sure the first thing you want to do is an engine swap and start with a decent base.

B18c for the 4 door its gonna move like a B16a in a 2 door or hatch
but yea tell us what your budget is cause everyones gonna say what they would do (if they had the money)
so let us know whats reasonable for you and your goals (hp) out of it
