Default Matte Black

Anyone know anything about these matte black paint jobs and how its done or who makes the paint??

usually sprayed the same as basecoat clear but with a flattening agent added to the clear.

yeah thats how it is done basically..

but i sprayed some matte black, or Flat black on a guys Truck bed cover.. and i used what is called Hot Rod black.. i think house of kolor makes it.. so look into that. but that is hard to spray sometimes..lol

Did the Hot rod black involve any clear? So this Matte black is like a single stage paint then amirite?
