Default any point in trying to make power from a 91 cx d15

???..cause i wanted to chip the ecu but theres no chips around, and i wanted to do a d16 swap with a good 91 civic si head and ecu,but i dont know how much work is involved. i want more power and i want v-tec if possible, but i dont know weather to save and swap another motor in or build a d15-d16 up,kinda wanna build a D15,mini me swap but not shure if its overly complicated or costly compared to a b18 swap. need help really need opinions, and maby the knowhow of a mini me swapper!.......ps my stco motor burns no oil and only has 197xxx km's on it so its a good base i think

Mini me is pennies compared to a swap. It is super easy, if you can change oil you can do a mini me swap.

Not without boost. But my idea of "power" and yours may be entirely different.

Don't chip the ecu, socket it, and learn how to burn your own chips. IMO, best way to make power of every mod you introduce.

wow sweet guys thanks for the feedback, i was gonna throw a t3 turbo off ebay on it down the road to make a little extra power but my idea of power isent like 800hp, im just looking for like 170, thats my goal byt he end of summer...i think i may look into buying a head and mpfi setup with the v-tec cylenoid from civic pride and see how far i can get on my own, then i figure all have atleast 100hp rather then my stock 70hp then maby in the summer all put eagle rods diff pistons and bore the head out, kinda wanted to make power without a turbo too.
