Default noob

Hey people I just joined and names i Alex.

I'm about to purchase my 1st honda this friday

it's a 89 Crx with a d15b2

I want to do a swap and am debating between a b16 N.A Or a D16 on boost

I am looking for a fun car that i can take around town and to the beach.

This being my 1st one i want to have it somewhat simple so no internal build. So i suppose a b16 would be the way to go.

Can't wait to Learn more about The rex but the benefits & difference between all of the motors and body styles Honda has made.

just to let you know, CRX_Toad will lock this... cuz it isnt tech related... he did it to all my threads like this.

but yeah, B16 is simple to do, there are many good guides for dropping one in. Just be warned, it is pricier than you may think.

I decided to veer away from the B16 and try and find a DOHC ZC engine. They are cheaper, but have around 30 less horses.
I figured a B16 can cost 2500-3000 for everything needed to put it in, including an engine... thats in canadian too, just to let you know. the ZC is gonna cost me around $1100. ugh...

great so zc on boost? lol i think SOHC are under rated but that's w.e.

were can i post about this then? Well let's make this tech related then . When doing the zc or the d16 what would b the best route as u said the zc has a bit less then the B16 but like stated b4 looking for something fun 2 drive no something to serious would a D16 with a couple pounds do the job or just a Zc with some bolt ons?
