ok so i am in the process of buying a 1991 ef hatchback ani have a couple questions.
first off it says its a DX an it has the DX motor in it but it has a sunroof???? my question being did the DX hatch come with a sunroof because this is a first that ive ever seen??

second thing is that someone has changed out the dash before an the VIN number dosent match the title but the firewall number does?? will i be able to register it or will they impound it for having 2 VIN numbers??

 

sunroof is aftermarket. might have been installed at the dealer or elsewhere.

vin on the dash shouldnt matter, i would just remove it or put the right one in.

 

strangely enough, the DX i am going to buy has a sunroof too!
Someone decided they wanted an Si... but couldn't get one. lol.
Are you wondering if the stock sunroof will bolt up? Cuz I sure am wondering...

yeah it looks like it may have came from the factory it is bolted in an looks fresh!!

so your sayin its better to remove the VIN than it is to have the wrong one???

i have a crx dash with title i can put in it or should i just take VIN off??
