I took apart my motor and i wanted to hone the clyinders has anyone used autozones honing tool?

Also after i hone the clyinders is there some type of lube or paste i can put on them so they dont rust ive seen people do this but i forget what they use.

it can work yea but the results will never compare to a machine shop, and you can use any oil or grease doesnt matter just use brake cleaner and clean it well before assembly

 

yea i know it wont compare to a machine shop but i just wanna get that junk off there right now until i figure out what pistons and sleeves im gonna use. Thanks for the help.
