Default RBC Manifold vs RRC Manifold

EDIT: So all the people will stop sending me PM's, RRCpackages.com

Hey guys I was able to dyno a customers car before and after to compare the RBC vs the RRC (07 CTR) manifolds and the RRC made 7 more WHP over the RBC.

This manifold was installed on a 06 Civic Si.

His mods are

Injen CAI with Apexi Power Flow
Coolant bybass
RRC... not a RBC
P2R throttle body gasket
Hondata IMG
custom mandrel bent 2.5 with magnaflow straight through
Thermotec wrapped Vibrant RH
Unorthodox underdrive pulleys
ACT prolight 8.5lbs flywheel
Boomba Mounts
buddy club condenser

In the 1st graph the power difference was the addition of 100 octane fuel.

This run is with the RRC manifold installed. 91 octane fuel

Disregard the torque spikes as this was due to sensor error.

You must be blind, right?

Look in graph #1, it's very clear to see that the owner of the car picked up 3-4 HP by adding the 100 octane.

Thanks for your input though.

Hmm so maybe getting one of them RRC manis with that bored TB on that project car and we could be seeing around 215whp. Good info thanks for dynoing it.

I have too, on other platforms.

Look, I don't want to turn this into an octane debate.

The K20Z3 is always trying to advance timing and the 100 allows the Si ECU reach max advance. The customer ran it out of fuel on the dyno intentionally and put 5 gallons of 100 in it.

I thought the curves on a reflashed ecu look different from those you posted.

So how much are you selling these RRC manifolds? Hit me up, please.

$425 shipped, 6 weeks for delivery, unless you want express shipping by DHL which is $80-100 more

I'm sorry I'll be a little offtopic with that but I am desperately looking for the overall length of the RBC and/or RRC, from the cylinder head face to the end of the plenum.

I've seen loads of pictures, but no real measurement, and I'd be interested to know if it could fit my swapped car.

Would be very grateful is someone could help me with that

What swapped car is that? Anything other than an integra 90-01, civic 92-09 will require hood and/or core support modification.

I will measure an RBC, if an RBC clears the RRC will too.

i just wanted to share a couple things i noticed with my install of this manifold.

1.) the runners have more volume than the rbc runners do and they are visibly wider.

2.) the rrc has a larger plenum than the rbc

3.) the absence of the iacv port in the rrc has no effect on idling, even in cold temperatures.

4.) if you really have a good ear, you can hear a slightly deeper tone on the first drive and u can notice the power difference.

5.) its a real nice oem upgrade that you can pass the dealer inspection without them hassling you about aftermarket parts even though its oem!

6.) the rbc im cover does fit with my quick diy.

Thats because DBW hold the throttle plate open for idle control. Cable operated TB powered vehicles need it. There is an adapter available on the market that allows plug and play operation with IACV function.

If you noticed I didn't mention any ECU modifications and the dates indicate this is before Flashpro.
