Default tranny whinning sound?

Hello,
I have a 1994 Accord stickshift and lately everytime i push down the clutch and start my car as soon as I let go of the clutch i hear a whinning noise coming from the tranny. If i press down on the clutch and release it either continues whinning and makes a different pitch sound or stops making sounds. Im thinking it might be the bearings? What do you guys think? any help is greatly appreciated.

If it's slipping, Sounds like it's time for a remanned manual trans.

sounds like either your throw out bearing or your trans bearings.
