My 2005 Accord EX 4cyl/AT,40Kmi, was diagnosed with a transmission experiencing "harmonic distortion" after repeated and very involved/costly diagnosis ($300.).There is a very pronounced "screech" type noise heard when the car shifts from 2nd to 3rd gear @ about 2000-2500rpm.I originally thought the noise was emanating through the dashboard which I have already partially dismantled to no avail.The Honda zone rep. is refusing to offer me any type of relief to the problem stating that although the trans. is still under warranty,there are no other documented complaints he is aware of and this situation is only unique to my car and as of yet presents no safety concerns.He also indicated that another trans. they might install may make more noise.What the hell kind of response is that?Are they installing inferior parts?Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I can convince Honda to do the right thing and not further blemish their already tarnished reputation as of late?Thanks...ED
