Default squirrelly?

So I finally got my new wheels on last week and I've been driving around for a while now. I went from stockies (02-04 5 spokes 16in) to Volk ce28n Time attacks 17x7.5 +43mm off set. Sense the transition, my car is a good deal more squirrelly under acceleration and even regular driving. Could this be an alignment issues or is it something else that could come with the size difference? Thanks for the help guys.
