Few simple questions about EFs
Ok. I am buying this 1989 Hatchback DX. Guy says it came with a "Factory" sunroof. I know, BS.
It is one of those flip up ones, similar to the rear side windows.
I was wondering if anyone has the dimensions to the actual OEM sunroofs?
Also, why is it that some Civic hoods, specifically EFs, don't have the two holes to mount the H emblem?
And, lastly, do all the trim levels have different side moulding? The DX has a stripe design on it...

The only civic ef to get a sunroof was the Si, period!! A pop up is an after market installed one.
All Civic ef's in Canada came with holes in the hood for the front emblem.
88-89 civic's had a larger side molding with a notch in the middle, the 90-91 was smaller and more round

you might be able to tell if the holes were filled from the bottom of the hood. Ive dealt with several hoods, and ive never run across one without holes that was not intentional.. but that doesnt mean they dont exist.
and yeah, that sunroof is aftermarket.
deetz knows whats up.. everything he said is right on.
