b20 in an ek wont idle properly
the swap was done about 2-3 weeks now but then when i start the car(cold) it idles at 1,200 to 2,000 adn when it warms up it goes down all the way to maybe 700 and to the point where the car struggles like itll die out what is wrong with this please help its getting irritating
common noone knows....and one more when i unplug the iacv its suppose to have that ridiculous idling but then it doesnt and when i plug it back on i noticed this humming noise and when i unplug it goes away and when u plug it back again then the noise goes back on......what is that noise
Have you tried swapping the MAP and IACV plugs? They are the only two sensors that have the same plug on the throttle body. I noticed in my swap that the plugs kinda "wanted" to be route to the wrong sensors. It seemed like I had to "pull" one of the plugs to fit.
what ecu are you running the motor on? clean the throttle body/IACV, (or just buy a new IACV) make sure your vacuum lines are hooked up right, and ^^ has a very good point. You might also want to source yourself an LS Intake Mani, ive heard b20 mani's have problems in these swaps with vacuum leaks but dont quote me on that.
