94 civic ex stock brake prop valve leak question. Do these have a gasket we can replc
All stock 1.6 non abs rear drum. I notice that I have a small leak coming from the prop valve where the 2 pieces meet. I can run my finger over the area where it spilts/cracks and find a small amount of brake fluid there. It is not a whole lot, I can wipe it clean, go out for a 10 mile drive and brake fluid can be felt in that area. Not enough to see but just enough to feel, as if the prop is sweating from that crack/split. Is this normal or should it be completely dry? Is there gasket I can replace where the 2 pieces connect? should I try just tightening it? should I replace it?
BTW, the changes made to the search completely blow. even with the "" around your word does not help, i have been running into "sorry no search results.
