code 41 also making code 9 go off?

Default code 41 also making code 9 go off?
i have a 92 civic hatch with a ls swap, recently im getting a code 41 for my oxg sensor and code 9 for cyp sensor, is it possible im getting a code 9 bcuz of my oxg sensor is bad?

I dont think so.

CYP sensor is inside the distributor, Id put my money that it doesnt relate.

Is the LS engine by any chance OBDII? That is the swap I did as well. I also had the same problem and they turned out to be independent. I ended up having to replace the distributor and O2 sensor.

just figured i would post this incase anyone else runs into this problem that somehow they was linked and all i had to do was change the 02 sensor

Just a guess, but a bad CYP sensor may possibly cause misfiring that could destroy the O2 sensor.

that is very true but if the sensor was bad i would stil lhave a cel for it
