Default EG rollbar in a DC

I picked up a EG Autopower rollbar from Craigslist thinking it would fit into my DC and now im having problems fitting it in correctly. Did I screw up on buying the EG rollbar? I thought the EG and DC had the same chassis?

Yes you did screw up for buying a EG roll bar for a DC, you should have check autopowerindustries 1st before purchasing this roll bar. Autopower website has a DC part # and its not the same part # for the EG.

Same suspension (physical dimensions at least, spring rate and shock damping probably differ), but different body.

The different body is probably what mandates the different rollbar design.

Best Advice.... Sell the EG bar, and buy the correct one for the DC.
Don't compromise your safety trying to make the incorrect one work in your car.

My last roll bar I had was made for my eg, but the 2 past owners of the roll bar tracked with it in their integras. I rode in one of them and it looked like it fit properly?

Thats just it........"It Looked" Looking like and actually working correctly in the event you ever need it are two different things.
Would you run a 20 inch wheel if it "looked like it would fit?
When it comes to your safety, buy whats designed to work with your car. Not something that "looks like it would"
